Ceramikhaus of Cebu formerly known as Ace Rattan Crafters started its business in the year 1988.
This company used to export rattan handicrafts and small furniture to Japan until 1994 when most of the buyers
transferred to Indonesia and Vietnam for their rattan furniture needs.

With full knowledge in rattan & wood finishing, we diversified into wooden kitchen cabinets with
ceramic accents and hand painted ceramic drawers to make our products stand out and be unique in the market.
During those times, we were buying our ceramic accessories from other sources and sensing the need and urgency
and forecasting forward to be self reliant, we purchased different machinery and equipments to produce ceramic
and porcelain items by ourselves.

After a year, we were able to capture a large share of the export market in Japan, Italy & United States.
We were so glad but by January 1998, we stop producing for the export market when these Chinese producers
copied our items and invaded the world market.

So we changed course and concentrated to produce products suited for the local market and thus
by May 20, 1998, Ceramikhaus of Cebu was born. Backed up by my full knowledge as production supervisor
for 16 years in the former Lucky Tableware Factory in Mandaue City, I was confident enough that we
can serve our potential clients.

We are now on our 13th Year and by the Grace of God, our assorted custom made products and personalized
porcelain mugs, personalized plates and glass wares are able to find various clients in the corporate & hotel market.
Although we are still making ceramic products for exports to Canada and Japan, we are concentrating
and using 80% of our production for the local market.

customer to big and prestigious corporations. We are always finding new ways and innovations to keep abreast
with the current trends and updates in the market to keep the business going on and moving forward for the benefit
of mankind
