Company Profile

COMPANY BACKROUND AND HISTORY JAWID COMMERCIAL AND PEST CONTROL SERVICES was founded on December 31, 1982 as a sole proprietorship. It was changed to JACOMPEST ENTERPRISES on February 23, 1990. JACOMPEST is backed by twenty-eight (28) long years of experience in the field of pest control business. JACOMPEST is a family enterprise hinged on a personalized service atmosphere. In as much as it is a sole proprietorship, its administration is not elaborate and complex as compared to big corporations. A big advantage of this company over its corporate competitors is its accessibility to management procedures. This simply means that the owners themselves are directly responsible for laying down policies and oversee their implementation. These tasks are not left to middle-level managers or supervisors. This translates, of course, into a dependable, effective and personalized service. Contrary to the notion that only big corporations can render better service, JACOMPEST can proudly boast of its respectable list of corporate clientele which counts, among others, Globe Telecom Inc., Digitel Philippines Incorporated (Sun Cellular), Shimizu Contractors Philippines Inc., Ajinomoto Philippines Inc., Puyat Steel Corporation, Flour-Daniel Philippines, Coronado Lanes (AMF-Puyat), Duval Realty, and Five Sisters Corporation of Laoag City. JACOMPEST is guided by the principle that in order to make a business a success; it must be founded upon a relationship of utmost good faith (uberrimae fidei) with its valued customers. Every client is therefore assured of the same quality of service that its satisfied customers have been enjoying through all these years. For JACOMPEST, a truly successful pest control measure must respond to three (3) key factors: effectiveness, safety and economy. JACOMPEST believes that one does not have to sacrifice quality and safety for economy or vice-versa. 2.0 ORGANIZATIONAL FRAMEWORK JACOMPEST is a sole proprietorship. Its Director, Mr. Romualdo Caboboy Jawid is ably assisted by Mrs. Virgencita Garcia-Jawid, General Manager, who complements in the whole management structure of accounting and administrative policies. Atty. Ariel Genaro G. Jawid is the Secretary-Treasurer and concurrently acts as the company’s Legal Counsel. Mr. Dwight Francis G. Jawid who passed the training course for exterminators conducted by the Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority last March 26, 1999, in turn, attends to the supervision of all company personnel and staff. He is now a Certified Pesticide Applicator (CPA) with FPA Control No. E73-10 and a licensed Fumigator as well (Control No. F43-8). Engr. Adlai Jan G. Jawid, E.C.E., is the Technical Consultant for Communications and Maintenance. Mr. Millard Fitzgerald G. Jawid, RMT, in turn is the head for health care of the company’s work force. 3.0 TECHNICAL EXPERTISE Mrs. Virgencita Garcia-Jawid’s vast experience in pest control management started way back in 1973 when she was still an employee of the Manila Pest Control until she resigned in 1981 holding the position of Area Manager and Franchise Consultant respectively.
