Navarro Foods International was a corporation company owned and managed by Mr. Gil Navarro located in 278 Panducena St. Bebe Anac, Masantol, Pampanga. It was in the 1970’s when Mr. Gil Navarro begun producing crab paste as a means of augmenting his income as a tailor in Pampanga. Armed with tenacity, determination, ambition and most importantly, a product that boasts of superb taste and quality, he started courting his would-be initial customers – his workmates.

Using their house kitchen as a production area, he started producing 50 kilograms of crab paste. After a while, he started selling crab paste in nearby markets every week and anywhere he could find customers. His efforts finally paid off when he started supplying small restaurant owners and wholesalers. Still, his biggest break came when he became the manufacturer for other leading brands in the market. But it was undoubtedly, the delectable taste of Mr. Navarro’s Taba ng Talangka that established a niche in the market

Through the years, customers from other parts of the country have sought the product bearing the name Navarro’s Taba ng Talangka. To meet the market Demand, he increased his daily production from a measly 50 kilograms to 1,000 kilograms of crab and hired additional workers. Mr. Navarro also ventured to other products such as “Burong Hipon” and “Burong Dalag”.

At present he has a production area put up for his crab paste beside his house. Soon, Navarro’s “Taba ng Talangka” will not only be known in the country but in the foreign market as well. Thus, the changing of name from “Navarro’s Taba ng Talangka” to Navarro Foods International was certainly apt. With its mission and vision aimed to providing people with quality products, Navarro’s is certainly in for the long haul.
