Formerly iVantage Corporation, Vantage Equities, Inc. (V) was incorporated on October 20, 1992 with the primary purpose of engaging in oil and gas exploration, and investments and developments as among its secondary purposes. On October 3, 2000, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the company's change of name to iVantage Corporation, and the change in primary purpose to financial holdings and investments. In 2008, the company changed its corporate name back to Vantage Equities, Inc. V divested its shareholdings in International Exchange Bank in June 2006, with the proceeds from the sale of investments used to increase the company's liquidity, and invested in government securities and marketable equity portfolio. The company and its subsidiaries are organized into four major operating business segments, namely investments holdings, remittance services, internet services, and mutual fund management.
