Roxas Holdings, Inc. (ROX) was established in 1927 in Nasugbu, Batangas as a sugar milling company and was then known as Central Azucarera Don Pedro. Faced with rising global competition, it embarked on an expansion and modernization program that enabled the company to become an integrated sugar manufacturing corporation with state-of-the-art refinery in 1994. In 1995, it acquired majority ownership of Central Azucarera de La Carlota, a sugar manufacturing company based in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental. In 2002, the company commenced a corporate reorganization program to transform itself into a holding and investment corporation. This paved the way for the integration of its sugar businesses under a subsidiary known as CADP Group Corporation. ROX and its subsidiaries produce raw and refined sugar in different grades. ROX also provides toll or refining services to raw sugar owners. The company's consolidated sugar manufacturing subsidiaries under Roxas and Company, Inc., formerly CADP Group Corporation, are the wholly-owned Central Azucarera Don Pedro, Inc.
