Asiatrust Development Bank, Inc. (ASIA) was incorporated on October 5, 1960 as a private development bank under the name of Quezon City Development Bank, through the support of the Development Bank of the Philippines. The company changed its corporate name to its present name in 1982 and became a publicly listed company on October 8, 1996. ASIA's major institutional shareholders include the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Social Security System (SSS).
