We have more than a century of auctioneering experience, which we are now taking into the 21st century to help companies dispose of their surplus assets in markets across the world. Purchasing used capital equipment goes well beyond the actual transaction. Our customers can acquire used equipment with confidence. We provide detailed and precise asset information alongside value-added assistance to enable ease of purchase for our buyers. If you are unable to view assets personally, for example, we can answer your specific questions regarding specifications, condition and maintenance history (where available). Throughout the process, we provide payment support services including information on sales and export tax.
We list transportation and logistics service providers that can assist buyers and sellers in moving the assets where required. The machine movement and freight forwarding contractors listed can help you with moving the equipment you have purchased in a negotiated sale or at auction to new site locations with minimum disruption and can facilitate compliance with health and safety as well as sales tax regulations.
We undertake an annual audit of certain of these firms and closely monitor ongoing performance. Listed contractors may collect from sites without the need to present their licenses and certifications. Note that the use of non-listed contractors will, however, require confirmation of public liability insurance and appropriate licenses. Requirements, of course, differ country-by-country, and so it is important that you verify what the requirements are prior to bidding on the desired assets.
Using the freight forwarders and logistics service providers listed will facilitate that equipment is transported with the correct documentation both in terms of customs clearance and sales or value added tax compliance.
