The name of the company is "Spek-trum Native Hut Shop". Mr Labura, the CEO, choose it because spectrum means an array of colors. That describes his products. They are an array of colors.

To make it more "Pinoy" he replaced the "c" with a letter "k".

This company is in the fashion accessories industry. But there are two kinds of segments that fashion accessories can be classified into.There is the fine jewelry segment and the costume jewelry segment. The later is the segment where the company is in.

Mr.Labura strictly uses indigenous materials for his accessories. Indigenous materials are materials made from bamboo, rattan, shells, animal by products, leaves and the like.This resources can be found mostly in places like the Philippines and other tropical countries.Out of that he makes earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rings.His designs are what make him unique. And his competitive edge is that he makes his own products, so he does not have to worry about spending more.

As of now, there are around five people doing the assembly of the accessories. Most of who are Mr. Labura's relatives. He has only one stall which is located in Parkmall and has been in operation for three years.But Mr.Labura is ambitious, determined and passionate about his work, which would really aid in the growing of his business.
