Edit Profile
For so many years, the labor profile in the Philippines has been categorized into two namely: Thirty percent (30%) organized and the remaining seventy percent(70%), the “unorganized”. The “organized” are the Labor Unions such as the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines or TUCP, the Kilusang Mayo Uno,etc. The “unorganized” are simply left to themselves and are called many names such as: casuals, project employees, temporaries, etc.

Binuklod ng Isip Sipag at Galing (BISIG) Labor Service Cooperative - registered with the Cooperative Development Authority under RA 9520 on May 6, 2014by virtue of Registration Number 9520-04024286- aims to shepherd these “unorganized” Filipino workers into the cooperative set-up, where they are given ownership, optimum benefits, as well asopportunity to participate in the management and operation of the enterprise.

The cooperative is also registered under other government agencies: Social Security System (SSS), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF)/Pag-IBIG Fund, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), and the Local Municipality wherein the cooperative’s office is situated.
