The pharmaceutical industry is among the most highly regulated sectors in the world across all of its activities. EPA is therefore fully engaged with the EU and, through its member organisations, with Member States, in the discussions on the formulation, revision and implementation of regulation and EU legislation.

In addition, EPA is active in partnering in EU Research programmes, such as the IMI (Innovative Medicines Initiative), Europe’s largest public-private partnerships. We also work on corporate social responsibility initiatives with others healthcare stakeholders, such as patient groups and healthcare professionals. EPA has specialised committees and task forces focused on key areas of activity.
