In the year 1999, saw the emergence of a restaurant that specialized in bulalo, tapsilog and other rice toppings. Gradually, this restaurant evolved into a Chinese food restaurant that also dabbled in catering.

As years passed, our catering client base grew through words-of-mouth and recommendation, but unfortunately about 2 years ago, the manager/part owner Mr. Jimmy Long passed away and the restaurant came to a close.

But through the prodding of our former employees and some of our clients (one of which is the biggest in circulation of a national broad sheet, a client for 7-8 years), we are emboldened to re-start our restaurant/catering business (headed by our late-manager’s son), thus the rebirth of WOK KING FOOD SERVICE as MJLS Catering Services.


MJLS Catering is a Full Service Catering Operation that has been in the business and serving companies such as Philippine Daily Inquirer, Globe Telecom, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation and Malacañang Palace.

MJLS offers variety of main courses, vegetable menus and desserts from which you can select for you and your guest.
