It is one of the oldest rural banks in the country having been granted a license to operate as a bank by the Central of the Philippines in January 5, 1953.

It is the biggest rural bank in the province of Laguna.

It has 13 branches, 11 are located in Laguna, while 2 are in Bulacan.
