THE BEGINNING
In 2003, steel trader couples Robert & Helen Tan, observed that the demand for steel bars continued to expand. At that time, the economies of developing Asia and the Pacific generally showed significant resilience. Despite the uncertainties caused by the IRAQ conflict, high oil prices, the outbreak of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (ARS) epidemic that resulted in low growth of economy, economic restructuring remained in the Philippines. Government and private infrastructures continued. The couples thought of finding a source of quality flat bars and square bars that could be readily available anytime at a reasonable price, thus, HENRO (HElen N RObert) Steel was established In February 20, 2003. While uncertain employment situation kept domestic demand unresponsive in the country, the plant located at the hearth of industrial areas in Meycauayan, Bulacan raised an indomitable organization. With the help of group of individuals who are determined of finding a permanent employment to sustain a living, they started the company by fabricating steel bars that conforms to market’s standard specifications. Through the established contacts of buyers by its founders, their products were able to penetrate in the market along with the products of giant steel manufacturers.

Henro Steel Corporation is a firm duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of Republic of the Philippines with SEC Registration No. CS 20003044551 issued on 20 February 2003 at Mandaluyong Metro Manila. The Steel Mill Plant is located at Lot 7& 9 Blk 4 MIS III Barangay Pantoc, Meycauayan, Bulacan.
