PHILCONRES INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SERVICES or PIMS is an Insurance Intermediary and Portfolio Management Company, with a firm vision of providing its clientele with utmost security and appropriate risk coverage.

Backed up by more than three decades of continuing service, PIMS was originally established in October 10, 1979 as the Underwriting Specialists or USI.

The company initially specialized in providing Fire and/or Lightning Insurance and Marine Cargo Insurance as loan requirements for various commercial banks such as the Philippine Veterans Bank, United Coconut Planters Bank, Philippine Banking Corporation, Traders Royal Bank, Republic Planters Bank and China Bank.

It then expanded its line of expertise in the field of Bonds and Engineering Insurance to cater the needs of Suppliers and Contractors relative to their contract requirement with the Philippine Government such as the Department of Public Works and Highways, Department of Education, Department of Agriculture, Armed Forces of the Philippines, National Housing Authority, City Governments of Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Bacoor, etc.

PIMS is a registered insurance service provider of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System or PhilGEPS under the Department of Budget and Management.

In the private sector, PIMS also provides Bonds, Contractor’s All Risks Insurance, and Group Personal Accident insurance in favor of Citiland, Makati Development Corporation and Team Energy.
