BRIEF HISTORY :


In the early 1950’s, Spouses Atty. Manuel ( Manolo ) Cruz and Consolacion F. Hermoso of Meycauayan Bulacan , started a cottage industry tanning sole leather for the local market. Mrs. Cruz’ father , was the pioneer of the Philippine Tanning industry. The Cruz couple then initiated a new and pioneering industry as classified by the Philippine government called Conching Hermoso Tannery , Inc. As a result , the business flourished due to the interpreneural vision of Mr. Cruz and the good managerial expertise of Mrs. Cruz.

In the early 60’s, the couple decided to erect a modern tannery in Calvario , Meycauayan, Bulacan. They continued to expand their business in the process . Presently , the Conching Hermoso Tannery is still fully operational and consistently generating sales from servicing the local shoe industry. It has also been proven that the tannery was able to capture a big portion of the market segment.

In the mid 60’s, the couple ventured into land banking. They invested in properties in Manila and neighboring towns with residential and commercial income . in the 70’s, the tanning business not just further grew, but there was also a setting up of movie houses which evidently proved to be profitable investment. Around the premises, they constructed commercial spaces for food chains and boutiques. Then later on , development of subdivision was accomplished and in 1989 , the family decided to formally organize. another corporation named , MANCON REALTY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. The concept is to have an independent firm to own and manage the realty business of the family. It was also in the same year, the formerly Cloverleaf market in Balintawak, Quezon City was purchased as additional business of the family. It is now called MC MARKET, In 1997, another market was constructed, the MC MARKET-MEYCAUAYAN , which was opened on January, 1998 located at MC Mall, Mcarthur Highway, Banga, Meycauayan, Bulacan.
