Anino Entertainment is a third-party game developer of PC and console games. Established in November 2001, Anino released its first game two years later - Anito: Defend A Land Enraged, a single-player role-playing game for the PC. As the first game developed entirely by Filipinos for Filipinos, Anito: Defend A Land Enraged placed the Philippines on the game industry world map and won two international awards: Innovation in Audio at the Independent Games Festival 2003 (also a finalist in all categories), and 2003 Gametunnel Role-Playing Game of the Year.
Anino Entertainment is led by Elson Niel Dagondon, President that leads to over 40 employees in three offices. The Anino Mobile office in Quezon City focuses on mobile game development. The Anino Entertainment offices in Alabang, Muntinlupa provide a creative haven away from the city. It houses two teams: the Virtual Reality team, which develops serious games for business applications, and the Game Development team, which develops PC and console games.
