Founded in 1993, Primary Software Development Corporation started out as a Cebu-based IT consultancy firm known then as Primary Systems Reengineering (PSR) mainly doing Computer Management Consultancy Services to selected businesses in Metro Cebu areas. By 1994, its activities focused on developing LAN-oriented, multi-user,'Customized Integrated Accounting' Software to various businesses who wish to computerize their operations.

By 1996, PSR became a corporation which now is Primary Software Development Corporation. Its products also evolved from just 'Integrated Accounting Software' into full-scale Enterprise Resource Applications which cater to important aspects of business operations. The trademark Prime Software was issued last November 19,1999 by the Philippine Intellectual Property Office(IPO). By this time, the company had already successfully implemented a considerable amount of Software Projects which is a testament of its commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction.

Looking into the future, Primary Software Development Corporation continues to further improve itself by developing more innovative solutions and expanding its capability to a whole new range of services like ERP web extensions, Service applications and much more.
