COMPANY HISTORY
ELCOR now a name recognized in the electrical construction industry as one of the most respected and reliable
contractors in transmission and distribution lines and substation projects, both in design and construction.
ELCOR originally was a partnership in 1990 under the name of RTC Construction, then became a single company as
RBC Engineering then later on establish by its founder Rosauro B. Cruz as a Corporation in 1993.
ELCOR started its operations as a contractor of Manila Electric Company (MERALCO) assisting Meralco operations
personnel to meet the growing demand for electric power and minimize its back logs.
ELCOR’s key staff and personnel are mostly retired Meralco personnel, trained and experienced through the years
in all aspects of the electrical engineering field.
Because of the company’s unsurpassed quality of workmanship, adherence to time schedules and its employee’s
professionalism, it was lauded by Meralco as its top contractor and eventually was recommended to other
companies who needed electrical engineering expertise.
ELCOR also offers design engineering, consultancy and project management services. Joint ventures and financial
arrangement for developmental projects are also welcomed.
