Active Alliance, Inc. (AAI) was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 3, 1999 and listed its shares of stock at the Philippine Stock Exchange on October 17, 2000. AAI is engaged in the manufacture of electronic devices, specifically the assembly of printed circuit boards, which are the backbones of electronic devices. AAI operates within the secured area of the Subic Bay Freeport zone. In 2003, the Board of AAI decided to temporarily cease its electronic manufacturing operations because of uncertainty in the electronics industry. On April 8, 2005, majority shareholders of AAI entered into an agreement with Wespac Holdings Incorporated for the sale of some 67,820,000 shares of AAI for P130.89 million. At present, AAI's management is still assessing the strategic direction it will take.
