The humble beginnings of our company started in the early 1970s when the petroleum industry in the Philippines then was being monopolized by a few multinational companies. What started out as an LPG dealership business eventually became an independent LPG refilling business in August 1990. It’s first refilling plant, which was established as Sam Gas Corporation, is located in a prime industrial lot in Pulilan, Bulacan.

Due to the growing number of satisfied clients of SAM GAS brand of LPG who eagerly convinced the Samonte Group of Companies to serve their requirements in the Southern Tagalog Region, the Sta. Rosa Laguna plant was then built and established as Sta. Rosa Gas Corporation. The plant was also established to ensure better service and uninterrupted supply of LPG to Sam Gas clients in Paranaque, Alabang, Laguna, Cavite, going further South. The Sta. Rosa Gas plant has a capacity to refill twice as much as the Pulilan, Bulacan plant.
