Towards May, 2013, Vilma D.C. Mendoza, a graduate of Business Administration and a Post Baccalaureate Human Resource Management graduate from Dela Salle University and together with her friends, Bobby T. Malinao, an accountant by profession and Martin E. Merriam, a Swiss national and a business consultant have gathered their thoughts together and decided to start the travel service business to actively participate in providing quality service to the ever-growing demands of the tour and travel industry.

In July 5, 2013, the group has decided to register the travel agency business with Department of Trade and Industry (National) in order to fulfill a dream which is fast becoming a vision. The official site of the business is Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

The primary purpose of the company is to engage in the business of travel services intermediation such as booking and ticketing services, travel documentation, tour organizing and other services.

At present, Mart Evers Travel and Tours is being managed and operated by its owner, Vilma D.C. Mendoza who has also finished the Travel Agency Management Course, an accredited training program by the Department of Tourism in order to effectively manage the travel service business. At present, the travel agency is powered the ABACUS Computerized Reservations System and by the VIA Booking machinery for travel agents.
