This website builds its database from publicly accessible directories of information such as Business Registrations in various Municipalities and other Online Directories. However, we wish that you, the viewing public, would provide the necessary assistance to keep our database up-to-date and complete. Please feel free to register Philippine businesses you wish to be found in our database and edit any existing entry you believe is inaccurate. Our editors will review your submissions and if approved, they will be visible in the website within 72 hours of submission.
In early 2008 we introduced Google Maps integration in the website. The system is currently utilizing Google Map's Geocoding functionality to 'predict' the location of a business based on its address. Note that this is far from perfect and is currently on live testing. The accuracy of the system would probably be at 70-80% at best at the moment. However, as Google continues to improve the accuracy of its Philippine maps, so will the results generated by our system. In the meantime, we appreciate any contributions by the public to correct or improve any erroneous map locations by clicking the 'edit profile' button below each map.
In June, 2010 PhilippineCompanies.com was redesign for the third time. Features added includes Stock Market Information and individual stock data from publicly traded companies in the Philippines. This includes stock quotes from Bloomberg, company filings from the PSE as well as general news involving the company from Google News. We've also come up with our own PhilippineCompanies.com Browser Toolbar which allows users to search the PhilippineCompanies database.
